Villarreal will face Sporting Clube de Portugal in the last 32 of the Europa League after the draw, which take place this lunchtime in Nyon (Switzerland). The first leg will take place at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon on Thursday 14th February (9pm CET), and the return leg will be on the 21st of the same month at the Estadio de la Cerámica (6:55pm CET). 

Currently, Sporting Clube de Portugal are second in the top flight of Portuguese football, with 31 points from 13 league matches, only behind Porto, who have 33 points.

Sporting CP are coached by Dutch manager Marcel Keizer and have players like ex-Barcelona defender Jérémy Mathieu, experienced Uruguayan centre-back Sebastián Coates, Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandez, former Valencia winger Nani and the tall Dutch striker Bas Dost, among others, in their suqad.

The Portuguese side got to the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 as second in Group E with 13 points (four wins, a draw and only one defeat), only two points behind group winners Arsenal, who had 15.
