Los Futbolísimos in the Blau category and Los Campeones in the Groc category were the champions of the penultimate day of the tournament
The Copa Endavant came to Benicarló this Wednesday in the last day of the tournament -before the grand final- which was held at the Campo Municipal Ángel ‘Pichi’ Alonso. The ‘Tour Centenari’ Groguet brought together this time a total of 125 participants divided into 36 teams between two categories: the Groc for those born between 2011 and 2013 and the Blau for those born between 2014 and 2016. The tournament guaranteed fun for all participants, who received a special t-shirt for the competition, as well as a backpack with a welcome pack.
The winners were Los Campeones in the Groc category and Los Futbolísimos in the Blau category. As well as sealing their place in the final of the tournament, which will be played on 10th June on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica, they received their well-deserved winners’ medals from the hands of the Yellows’ legend and ambassador of the club, Marcos Senna, the mayoress Xaro Miralles and the councillor for sports, Fernando Jovaní.
Villarreal CF also took the UEFA Europa League trophy, won in the 2020/21 season, to Benicarló, where it was on display for fans to take photos with.
In addition to Benicarlo, the successful competition has been played in Segorbe, Almassora, Benicàssim, Nules, La Vall d’Uixó, Vinaròs, Vila-real, Burriana, L’Alcora, Morella and Onda.
