Unai Emery underlined his expectations ahead of the big game this Sunday against Real Sociedad (9pm CET)
Villarreal CF head coach Unai Emery underlined that he is looking forward to this Sunday’s game against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena (9pm CET), as two teams in great form face each other: “It’s an exciting challenge. Real Sociedad are really good positionally, and getting the ball of them won’t be easy, but we will try and take control. Then, it will depend on what things feel like on the pitch. We will need to play with personality,” he said.
For the Basque manager, the match will help the team continue to improve: “Real Sociedad have some impressive stats, like we do. We’re third, but we want to continue to improve. I think that we haven’t reached our ceiling yet. We want to take a step more in terms of growing, knowing that we’re coming up against a great team.”
