Schedule for Villarreal CF internationals

Eight Yellows players have been called up by their national teams

Yeremy Pino, Álex Baena, Gio Lo Celso, Juan Foyth, Johan Mojica, Samu Chukwueze, Aissa Mandi and Iker Álvarez have been called up to their national teams for various matches during the international break.

Yeremy Pino from the Canary Islands will play two EURO 2024 qualifiers with the Spanish national team against Norway and Scotland respectively. Meanwhile, Álex Baena will wear the Spain U21 jersey for two friendly matches in preparation for the U21 European Championships against Switzerland U21 and France U21.

Villarreal B goalkeeper Iker Álvarez will also play for Andorra against Romania and Kosovo in the EURO 2024 qualifiers.

Argentinians Juan Foyth and Gio Lo Celso, called up by the Albiceleste, will play two friendlies against Panama and Curacao. In addition, Johan Mojica has been called up by the Colombia to play two friendlies against South Korea and Japan.

Samu Chukwueze will play a double-header against Guinea Bissau in an Africa Cup of Nations 2023 qualifier. Aïssa Mandi will also play two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Niger.

Juan Foyth and Gio Lo Celso (Argentina):
