Villarreal Women face Levante UD on Saturday at 8:30pm CET at the Mini Estadi
Villarreal Women head coach, Sara Monforte, appeared at a press conference ahead of the derby against Levante UD, which will take place this Saturday at 8.30pm at the Mini Estadi. Monforte is confident that her team will do well against what she considers to be one of the best sides in the division.

How the team is feeling
“We’ve just come back from the Christmas break. The players have recovered. The team has worked very well this week and I think they’ll be in good condition for the game. We’ll be playing to try to score.”
The opposition
“Levante are one of the best teams in the league. The most important thing is their head coach, he is a tactical reference. He has a very clear model, he always has the ball and subdues you. They are hardly ever in a low block. We have to defend away from the goal.”
Mental level
“We know that can be our deficit. We are self-critical about suffering in the final minutes. It’s our point of improvement and we work on concentration. We have to compete for 95 or 100 minutes”.
Paola Soldevila
“The club is already planning for next season. Paola was fundamental, she is one of the players who has played the most minutes. Personally, she is a fundamental for me. We signed her as a central midfielder and she is becoming one of the best midfielders in the league. What’s more, she’s already a trie Yellow.”
