The Yellows have once again shown their charitable side in a new Blood Donation day
Yellows fans have once answered the call to show their charitable nature and this Wednesday went to the Pabellón Municipal Bancaja in Vila-real, not at the Estadio de la Cerámica in previous editions due to the works at the stadium, to give blood, thanks to a new donation campaign promoted by the Yellows and the Centre de Transfusió de la Comunitat Valenciana (CTCV – Valencian Transfusion Centre).
Former Villarreal CF player and current Villarreal CF ambassador Marcos Senna, the head of the CTCV’s Haemodonation Service, Roberto Roig; and Vila-real Town Council’s sports councillor Javier Serralvo, went to the pavilion to thank the Submarine’s fans for their donation. In addition, the Yellows gave each donor two tickets for the match between Villarreal CF and FK Austria Wien in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The CTCV and Villarreal CF have been working together since the 2001/02 season, in this initiative, which is part of the Endavant Solidaritat project. After more than 19 years of co-operation between the two entities, more than 9,000 donatinos have been recorded at the Estadio de la Cerámica, in addition to this year’s donations at the Pabellón Municipal Bancaja in Vila-real.
