Bands and artists from across the province of Castellón can now apply to take part in Villarreal CF’s musical contest
The third edition of Groc Talent is now here! Villarreal CF and SanSan Festival have opened registration this 2nd of November, for artists and groups from the province of Castellón to participate in the competition, with the winning prize of performing in the prestigious musical event which takes part yearly in Benicàssim.
After two successful editions, Villarreal CF, through Endavant Cultura, is once again involving the greatest musical talents of our province, encouraging them to take part in this exciting competition that aims to raise awareness of the emerging bands in the province of Castellón.
To sign up, bands need to fill in a simple FORM, where they need to write the name of the artists/group, a small biography, a photograph of the artist/group, a contact number, an e-mail address, a link to three songs by the artist/group (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud or Bandcamp), and whenever possible, a YouTube video so fans can get a preview of the artist.
Fases del concurso y sistema de votación
El plazo de inscripción para participar en el concurso permanecerá abierto hasta el 31 de diciembre a las 23.59 horas. Entre todas las solicitudes recibidas, un jurado profesional seleccionará a los diez artistas participantes. La selección de candidatos concluirá el 30 de enero.
Una vez elegidos los grupos, a través del material proporcionado por los candidatos, la afición del Submarino elegirá a sus tres favoritos, asignando tres, dos y una estrella a cada uno, siendo 3 la máxima puntuación. Cabe destacar que el periodo de votaciones del público será del 1 al 28 de febrero.
Los tres grupos con más votos participarán en la final del certamen, que tendrá lugar en la Fan Zone del Estadio de la Cerámica durante la previa del partido correspondiente a la jornada 25 de LaLiga Santander, prevista para el segundo fin de semana de marzo.
El ganador del concurso, que será elegido por un jurado profesional, obtendrá como premio la ilusionante participación en una de las tres jornadas de la IX edición del SanSan Festival de Benicàssim (6-8 de abril). Un sueño hecho realidad.
Competition stages and voting
The registration period for the competition will remain open until 31st December at 11.59pm CET. From all the applications received, a professional jury will select the ten participating artists. The selection of candidates will conclude on 30th January.
Once the groups have been chosen, through the submitted applications, the Submarine fans will choose their three favourites, assigning three, two and one star to each, with three being the maximum score. It should be noted that the public voting period will run from 1 to 28 February.
The three groups with the most votes will participate in the final of the competition, which will take place in the Fan Zone of the Estadio de la Cerámica during the pre-match of the 25th LaLiga Santander matchday, scheduled for the second weekend of March.
The winner of the competition, who will be chosen by a professional jury, will win the exciting prize of participating in one of the three days of the 9th edition of the SanSan Festival in Benicàssim (6-8 April). A dream come true.
