Miguel Álvarez expects a high-quality match against Atlético Levante (Sunday, 4pm CET)

Villarreal B head coach Miguel Álvarez appeared in front of the press in a remote press conference this morning to analyse the upcoming league match against Atlético Levante, which will take place at the Valencian side’s training ground (Sunday, 4pm CET): “It will be crucial to know how to deal with the playing style they will line up with, because I think they will play with five at the back. We will need to be ourselves. We know that it will be difficult.”

The Mini Submarine boss underlined that he expects a tight game between two B teams who play attractive football: “It will be a nice game between two B teams and there will be a lot of quality players on the pitch. We want to take another step forward by winning away from home.”

Finally, Álvarez recognised that the race for the promotion play-off spots is going to be very close this season: “Second and third spot is going to be very tight. There are going to be many teams involved in the fight. We are going to demand a lot from ourselves and we will try to be amongst the top three at the end of the season.”
