The Yellows defender is part of the Ecuador squad for the continental tournament
Villarreal defender Pervis Estupiñán has been called up by Ecuador for the Copa América, which will take place in Brazil. The Ecuadorian footballer is currently with his natoinal team, after having played two World Cup 2022 qualifiers against Brazil (2-0, defeat) and Peru (1-2, defeat).
‘La Tri’ will face Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela in the group stages. Drawn in Group A, Ecuador will try and finish in the top four to reach the quarter-finals.
The games Pervis Estupiñán will play with Ecuador in the Copa América are (CEST):
- Colombia vs Ecuador: Monday 14th July, 2am, Arena Pantanal.
- Venezuela vs Ecuador: Sunday 20th July, 11pm, Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium.
- Ecuador vs Peru: Wednesday 23rd July, 11pm, Pedro Ludovico Teixeira Olympic Stadium.
- Brazil vs Ecuador: Sunday 27th July,11pm, Pedro Ludovico Teixeira Olympic Stadium.
