The midfielder, with 474 official games under his belt, is the player with the most games in the history of Villarreal CF, in addition to the 26 games he played for Villarreal B when they were in the Second Division during the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.
The Yellows No.14 is one of the most important players in the history of Villarreal CF. He was one of the heroes of the third promotion to the top flight and one of the captains of the club when they won the UEFA Europa League in 2021.
He arrived at the club in 2010 to play for Villarreal C. He progressed through the ranks at the Submarine until reaching the first team in the 2012/13 campaign. Trigueros has scored a total of 41 goals, 38 of them for the first team. He is Villarreal CF’s tenth top scorer in the top flight.
