The Villarreal full-back was satisfied with beating Valencia (2-1) at the Estadio de la Cerámica
Villarreal defender Alfonso Pedraza praised his team’s great effort that clinched them the win against Valencia on derby day (2-1): “It was a crucial win that has positioned us high up in the table. Derbies are always more tense than normal and to pick up points at home is really important.”
Individually, Pedraza was one of the key players in the derby for Villarreal. “The international break was good for me. I played minutes and was able to help the team by winning the penalty. Now we have to keep working, as on Thursday the Europa League awaits us and it is a beautiful and exciting competition”, he highlighted.
