The Villarreal defender underlined the Submarine’s excellent end to the game against Real Madrid
Pau Torres appeared in front of the Villarreal TV microphones to analyse the point against Real Madrid at the Estadio de la Cerámica (1-1). The centre-back highlighted that Villarreal grew into the game: “We got a draw, but we had chances to win the game. We found it hard to get into the game, and we weren’t comfortable until the 15th minute. Then, in the second half, we could have scored more.”
The Yellows No.4 was positive about the point gained by Unai Emery’s side: “We went head-to-head with a team who are aspiring to win everything. That’s something to be happy about. We were good, creating chances at the end of the match to try and win but it wasn’t to be. We get a point at home and next up in LaLiga is an away game against Real Sociedad, where we will try and get a win.”
