The attacker from Alicante joins Sara Monforte’s squad ahead of their first season in the top flight
Villarreal Women have reached an agreement to sign Nerea Pérez, who will wear yellow for the upcoming 2021/22 season. The attacker from Alicante is the first reinforcement for Sara Monforte’s side, who will compete in the top flight of Spanish women’s football for the first time.
Skill and talent for the First Division
Nerea Pérez Machado (Benidorm, 11/01/1994) is a player with experience in the First Division. Among her main qualities are her dribbling and attacking capabilities. The footballer from Alicante comes as a free agent after playing at CD Santa Teresa last season, who were relegated to the Second Division. She joined the side from Extremadura in the winter transfer window after playing for Levante for nine seasons. Previously, she played for Colegio Alemán and Sporting Plaza Argel. What’s more, she was an international with the Spanish national team at U17 and U19 age groups, with whom she won a bronze medal at the World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago and silver in the Europa Championship in Turkey, respectively.
