Unai Emery underlines that the match against Valladolid is crucial for Villarreal’s hopes for the season

Villarreal head coach Unai Emery has emphasised the importance of getting a victory in this Monday’s game against Real Valladolid at the Estadio de la Cerámica (9pm CET). “We need to be demanding. There are important details between winning and losing this match. With regards to how we play, we need to find a defensive balance, but without that affecting our ability to attack. We will need to be very competitive to beat Valladolid.”
For the Basque manager, it will not be easy at all to defeat the visitors, despite their position in the league table: “Valladolid are at the bottom of the league for various reasons, but they have a very good team and a coach who has been working well for a long time. I’m expecting to face an organised opponent who will surely be very committed. They are going to make it very hard for us.”
