After his great performances at the Andalusian club, Almería exercised the purchase option that was part of the loan agreement and, subsequently, Villarreal have decided to repurchase the midfielder.

Manu Morlanes (12/01/1999) was a key player at UD Almería. The midfielder who came through the ranks at the Yellows Academy played a total of 39 games for the red and whites last season (38 in the Second Division y one in the Copa del Rey). During his time at the Andalusian club, he scored one goal and provided three assists.
Despite his youth, the talented footballer has played 30 official matches for the Villarreal CF first team. In addition, he has represented Spain U21s.
