The Yellows No.7 has scored 15 goals in LaLiga since the 2020 calendar year started, having played 25 games. The same amount of goals as Lionel Messi, who needed 28 ties to reach that same number.
Since he returned to playing football after lockdown, the striker has found the back of the net 12 times in the top flight, more than any other player in Spanish football.
Gerard is also one of the top scorers in LaLiga this season, with five goals to his name. Only Mikel Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad), is ahead of him, with six.
