Rodri, Fornals and Enes Ünal have all been called up to play for their respective countries
Villarreal CF’s Madrid born centre midfielder, Rodrigo Hernández, has been called up to play for the Senior Spain national team for friendly matches against Germany and Argentina that will take place at the end of this month in Dusseldorf (23rd March) and Madrid (27th March). Rodrigo has already been capped by Spain U19 and Spain U21.
In addition, Castellón born midfielder Pablo Fornals, has received the call-up from Spain U21 to play against Northern Ireland in Belfast (22nd March) and Estonia in Ponferrada (27th March). Both matches are qualifiers for the 2019 European Championships.
Enes Ünal, called up for Turkey
For his part, Villarreal CF’s Turkish forward, Enes Ünal, has been called up for his country to play two friendly matches against the Republic of Ireland (23rd March) and Montenegro (27th March).
That makes it six Yellow internationals
With call-ups for Rodrigo, Fornals and Enes Ünal, that makes it six Villarreal players who will go on international duty in the upcoming international break: Rukavina (Serbia), Cheryshev (Russia), Enes Ünal (Turkey), Rodrigo (Spain), Fornals (Spain U21) and Salem Al-Dawsari (Saudi Arabia).
