The Spaniards have won three golds, a silver to place fifth in the European competition
Playas de Castellón had an unforgettable event at the European Champion Clubs Cup Cross Country held on the morning of Sunday 5th February on the beach at Oropesa del Mar. The athletics club, which is part of Villarreal CF’s Endavant Esports programme, won three gold medals in the men’s, women’s and mixed categories, a silver medal in the men’s U20 and fifth place in the women’s U20.
After the triple crown achieved last Sunday, the CA Playas de Castellón now has four stars in its trophy cabinet, representing the four occasions on which the club has won gold at a European Championships.
