Fans were able to enjoy the spectacle in the run-up to the Barça game
The Estadio de la Cerámica unveiled a spectacular light show in the build-up to the match against FC Barcelona. With the stands full of fans, there were two highlights: the first when the the Villarreal line-up was announced and the second when the two teams plus the refereeing trio came on to the pitch. In this one, the lights went up to the rhythm of the club’s centenary anthem, composed by Nacho Cano. Impressive.
The SkyCam was also unveiled
Another novelty of the match against FC Barcelona was the premiere of the SkyCam, which brought spectacular shots to the match broadcast.
