Netherlands beat Norway (2-0) and sealed qualification for the World Cup

The Villarreal CF footballers who were called up for their national teams have now played all their matches during the international break. Arnaut Danjuma joined Pau Torres as having qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, after Netherlands’ 2-0 win over Norway. The Dutch winger played 89 minutes, providing an assist.

Pervis Estupiñán also starred for his country, playing the entire match and scoring in Ecuador’s win over Chile (0-2). Aïssa Mandi played the 90 minutes of the 2-2 draw between Algeria and Burkina Faso, while Serge Aurier played the entire game as Côte d’Ivoire lost to Cameroon (1-0).

The results for the international Yellows were as follows:
