Unai Emery underlines the difficulty of tomorrow’s game against an intense and noteworthy Osasuna

Villarreal manager, Unai Emery, appeared before the press this afternoon to analyse tomorrow’s league encounter against CA Osasuna, that will take place this Saturday at El Sadar Stadium (6:30pm CET): “It’s always a hard place to play at. They play with a lot of intensity. Their main weapon is pressing and they do it better than anyone.”

For Emery, the key to the match will be sticking to their game plan and trying to manage play as much as possible against a tough side: “It will come down to whether we are capable of controlling the game the way we want to and if we can take it where we want to. As always, the aim tomorrow will be to win, but we know it is going to be difficult against an Osasuna side that are at the bottom of the table, but it will be the same Osasuna as always.”

Lastly, the manager highlighted the importance of having the whole squad and the possibility of making up to five changes: “The team is very important because a lot of things happen in a 90-minute match, there’s a lot of wear and tear. So the players on the bench are very important. The five changes that we have give us a very wide range of possibilities to be able to make different decisions in the game and tomorrow will be like that.”
