The midfielder strengthens Sara Monforte’s side
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with midfielder Claudia Iglesias, who will represent Villarreal Women until 2024. The footballer joins from Atlético de Madrid, where she spent eight years, coming through the youth ranks.
Quality in midfield for Villarreal Women
Claudia Iglesias de la Cruz (30/08/2003) is a young footballer with a bright future. The midfielder stands out for her self-confidence when playing, providing great quality in the middle of the pitch. The midfielder made her top-flight debut in 2021/22 with Atleti, playing a total of seven league games last season.
Iglesias has also represented Spain at U17 level.
The midfielder is the sixth summer signing for Villarreal Women. Sara Monforte’s side is made up of the following players:
