Villarreal midfielder Santi Cazorla scored the fourth and final goal for the Submarine against La Nucía yesterday in the 0-4 win. It was a good pre-season test for the Yellows: “It was a hard-fought game against a good rival that will help us gain rhythm. La Nucía have a good stadium. They are doing things well and I wish them all the luck in the world in Segunda B.”

Cazorla underlined his optimism ahead of the season regarding the team: “We’re optimistic. Last season we suffered a lot but we managed to stay up and we have very high hopes for the upcoming one.”

To Yellows No.8 wanted to thank the La Nucía fans for their support: “The support from everyone is a privilege. Being with kids is always great. Making time for them is the least I can do.”
