Breaking the current run at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López

Villarreal will try and get their first away win against CD Tenerife in their sixth visit to the side from the Canary Islands

Villarreal will try and get their first ever win at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López this weekend. The Yellows will try and break the previous run when the two teams met, by beating CD Tenerife in the Copa del Rey Round of 32 (Sunday, 6pm CET).

The Yellows have travelled to face the side from the Canary Islands on five occasions, with three wins for the home team and two draws, in ties in LaLiga (three) and Segunda División (two).

The last meeting in Tenerife took place in March 2010, on Matchday 24 of the 2009/10 LaLiga season, ending in a 2-2 draw. Nilmar put Villarreal CF ahead, before Culebras and Nino turned things around, before a late Giuseppe Rossi equaliser.
