A total of 19,000 yellow cards will fill the Estadio de la Cerámica with colour against Espanyol
The Official Villarreal CF Supporters’ Club (Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF – APV) has organised, for this Sunday’s match against RCD Espanyol, the placement of 19,000 yellow cards in the Estadio de la Cerámica stands which will show support to the club’s vice-president José Manuel Llaneza, who has recently been diagnosed with leukaemia. The APV asks fans to list up the cards as the players enter the pitch, and in the 12th minute of each half (minute 57 of the second half) and sing Llaneza’s name. Everyone united!
