Ximo García spends his holidays in Ziguinchor, where he takes presents and organizes sports events
Ximo García is more than a normal Yellows fan. This Yellows fan often spends his holidays in Ziguinchor, capital of the natural region of Casamanza in Senegal, where he enjoys a special kind of experience.
Throughout the year, the Submarine supporter collects sports kits and presents and takes them personally to Senegal. Villarreal CF has been collaborating with Ximo for several seasons by donating sports equipment. On his last visit, Ximo García even took a signed shirt by Villarreal’s Senegalese player, Alfred N’Diaye.
Once there, Ximo García does not just give out presents though, he also collaborates with the inhabitants from that area and organizes races and football tournaments in which the teams dress in the kits from the various Spanish clubs that have donated sports gear. In addition, as if this were not enough, Ximo also visits schools to take them a variety of school materials. An adventure for charity that Villarreal is very much a part of.
