The Yellow Submarine celebrated the achievements of 13 players who, this season, reached ten years as ‘Groguets’
A deserved tribute for the effort and the passion they have shown for the colours. Villarreal CF have recognised 13 players who have reached their tenth year at the club. The tribute was led by club president, Fernando Roig, who personally gave the traditional ceramic submarine to each one of the players.
The event, celebrated in the Estadio de la Cerámica, was also attended by the club’s CEO, Fernando Roig Negueroles, the director of football, Miguel Ángel Tena, and the director of the academy, Pablo Cañada.
Among the prize-winners was first-team player, Jaume Costa, along with the following 12 players who also received the distinguished award from the club: Sergio Lozano (Villarreal B), Yolanda Palomino (Villarreal Women) Albeta López (Villarreal Women), Laura Jarque (Villarreal Women B), Héctor Contreras (Villarreal U19s), Ángel Sánchez (Villarreal U17s), Xavier Capdevila (Villarreal U17s), Santi Mulet (Villarreal U17s), Héctor Rodríguez (Villarreal U15s), Iván Tasevski (Villarreal U15s), Fernando Broch (Villarreal U15s) y Alba López (Villarreal Women U16s).
