Miguel Álvarez expects a tight match against a team who, like the Yellows, enjoy having the ball (Sunday, 5:30pm CEST)
Villarreal B head coach Miguel Álvarez appeared remotely in front of the media to analyse the upcoming game against FC Andorra at the Mini Estadi (Sunday, 5:30pm CEST).
Álvarez underlined that he expects a tight match against the Andorran side: “They’re a top-level opponent, as are all of the teams in this second stage. I’m expecting a game that, in order to win, we will need to be strong and get the ball from them. They’re a team who like having the ball. We have to be precise in individual duels, and we also especially need to put in a good performance off the ball to regain possession as quickly as possible when we don’t have it.”
The Mini Submarine boss also analysed how his players have grown since the start of the season: “I’m very pleased with the evolution the the players are having from the start of the season. This year we had very young players who are progressing a lot and are competing at a high level. We’ve managed to secure our place in the new Primera RFEF league, and in this second stage of the season, we’re still working as we were before, full of hunger, and focusing on working hard.”
