Villarreal CF has reached an agreement to sign Zaïra Flores for Villarreal CF Women for the 2021/22 season. The Catalan midfielder comes as a free agent after playing for Rayo Vallecano last season, the team she joined from FC Barcelona B.
Villarreal Women have already announced, including this latest addition, a total of five signings for the Yellows’ debut season in the top flight. Zaïra Flores joins new signings Nerea Pérez, Tere Morató, Pamela Tajonar and Raquel Pinel.
Vision and quality for the Yellows midfield
Zaïra Flores Nogueras (04/11/1993) is a footballer who will bring great visión, quality and defensive prowess to the middle of the park for Villarreal. What’s more, she is a versatile player who can also play as a defender, both as a full-back and as a centre-back. Previously, the Yellows midfielder played for Levante Las Planas, RCD Espanyol y CE Seagull de Badalona. Last season, Zaïra Flores played a total of 32 matches, 14 of those as a starter, and scored a goal with the only shot she took all season. The footballer from Sant Joan Despí strengthens the midfield for Sara Monforte’s side’s first season in the First Division.
