The Canarian passes Xisco Nadal as the youngest player to have played in the Champions League

Last Tuesday, Yeremy Pino made history with Villarreal! The Canarian attacker became, in the match against Atalanta BC at the Estadio de la Cerámica, the youngest player to take part in the Champions League representing Villarreal. Yeremy took to the pitch against the Italian side aged 18 years, ten months and 22 days, becoming a reference for the young Yellows Academy stars who try and reach the top level with the first team.

Yeremy has overtaken Xisco Nadal, current first-team delegate, as the youngest Villarreal player to make their Champions League debut. Xisco did so on 22nd November 2005 at El Madigal, aged 19 years, four months and 24 days. Yeremy is one of the players in the Villarreal squad with the brightest futures, thanks to his youth and this record is proof of that.
