The Canarian is among the 55 candidates for the male ideal 11, while the forward from Castellón is among the 33 candidates for the female side

Yeremy Pino and Aixa Salvador are continuing to bring joy to Villarreal CF and fans! Both players are still in the Fútbol Draft 20/21 after the latest update of the lists. The Technical Committee, made up of made up of representatives of Spanish football institutions, have made the second cut, of 55 players in the male section, and 33 players in the female section. Yeremy is in the fight to appear in the best under-21 list as right winger, alongside other leading candidates such as Ferran Torres (Manchester City), Ander Barrenetxea (Real Sociedad), Nico Williams (Athletic Club) and Raúl Moro (Lazio). Aixa Salvador is competing for the same position in the women’s section, and is up against Ana Franco (Sevilla FC) and Candela Andújar (FC Barcelona).

The Technical Committee meeting, which took place online due to the pandemic, was attended by Javier Lasagabaster (CEO Futbol Draft ®), Francis Hernández (RFEF national team co-ordinator), Luis de la Fuente (U21 coach), Pablo Amo (U18 coach), David Gordo (U17 coach), Julen Guerrero (U16 coach), Jorge Vila (Spain women’s coach), Montse Tomé (Spain womens assistant coach and U23 coach), Pedro López (Spain Women’s U19s coach), Raúl Ojeda and Ricardo Resta (LaLiga), Jose María Movilla (AFE director of institutional relations), Diego Rivas (AFE secretary-general), Aritz Gabilondo (journalist) and Ana Rosell (women’s football expert).

The current edition is No.15 of Futbol Draft, which has rewarded young Spanish talents since 2006. During these years, players such as Sergio Ramos, Gerard Piqué, Juan Mata, Álvaro Morata, David Silva, Koke, Ferran Torres, Pedri, Sandra Paños, Marta Torrejón, Nahikari García, Esther González, Lola Gallardo, Patri Guijarro, Irene Paredes and Lola Gallardo have won the award.

The Futbol Draft Technical Committee is made up of Royal Spanish Football Federation youth national team selectors, as well as recognised experts in youth football and members for the leading institutions in Spanish football (RFEF, LaLiga, AFE, CSD and AEAF).
