Footballers from the men’s first team, the women’s first team, and the B team have visited children in five hospitals
Villarreal CF have made the traditional Christmas visit to hospitals in the surrounding area. In the province of Castellón, players from the men’s first team, the women’s first team and the B team visited the Hospital Universitario de la Plana in Vila-real, the Hospital Vithas in Castelló de la Plana and the Hospital Comarcal in Vinaròs.
In addition, an expedition of Submarine players also visited the Sagunto Hospital, while captain Raúl Albiol and Villarreal ambassador Marcos Senna were the representatives at the Hospital La Fe de València.
All of them were able to visit newborn children and other infants who are spending the Christmas holidays in different hospitals and give them various merchandising items, such as footballs, soft toys, sweets and balloons.
This initiative is part of the Endavant Solidaritat project. Through this project, the Villarreal CF Foundation brings together all the solidarity actions promoted by the club, the result of the club’s economic and social collaborations with Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), institutions, foundations, associations and special centres -mainly in the province of Castellón and the Region of Valencia.
