Miguelón emphasised the team’s improvement since Calleja’s return
Villarreal defender Miguelón appeared in front of the media to analyse the current goings on regarding the Yellow Submarine. The Yellows No.15 highlighted that Villarreal are currently in their best moment of the season so far: “The team has turned things around in the last few matches. We are in a positive run and we want to continue like that. Now we have the international break to restrengthen and go into the game against Celta Vigo at our best level.”
Furthermore, the right-back underlined that the upcoming LaLiga tie is crucial to move away from the relegation zone: “Winning at Balaídos would be so important. Getting the three points would show we mean business and open a gap of seven points.”
Miguelón also recognised that each day he is feeling more and more used to play playing in the top flight of Spanish football: “I feel comfortable. At first, it was a little difficult to adapt, but I got help from my team-mates. I’m happy with the performances I’m putting in and with the faith the manager is putting in me.”
