Miguel Álvarez underlines that Villarreal B are on the ‘right path’ to continue growing

Villarreal B manager Miguel Álvarez appeared this Wednesday in front of the press to analyse the upcoming league tie against Gimnàstic Tarragona (Sunday, 12pm CET). The coach underlined that the Mini Submarine are on the correct path to get good results: “We’re working with a lot of intensity, adjusting small details that will allow us to return to winning ways. Being demanding will help us get better each day.”

The Mini Submarine coach explained that, despite the complexity of the upcoming league tie, Villarreal B will stay loyal to their playing style: “Nàstic have one of the best squads in the league. They have a new coach who is very competitive and demanding without the ball. They make the most of their attacking chances. It’s a tough place to go to, but we need o go there with the idea of keeping up our style. We need to take ownership of the ball and press high. If we’re not loyal to our style of play, we lose our strengths. Our chances of winning in Tarragona depend on ourselves.”
