Unai Emery highlighted the importance of winning against a great rival like CA Osasuna
Villarreal head coach Unai Emery appeared before the media to analyse the Submarine’s great victory over CA Osasuna (2-0). The coach was very satisfied with the win: “We deserved to win the game. It was important to compete and we did that. At the start of the league, we’ve been playing a lot of away games and things were getting difficult for us. Today we adapted to our opponents, we imposed our game and we managed to deactivate our opponents’ weapons.”
The coach also took the opportunity to congratulate Alberto Moreno on his return to action: “He’s had two ACL injuries, which are complicated. Luckily, he’s back now. He’s a very important player and we’re all glad he’s back and we need his best performance. It was a good return and with a win against Osasuna. All very positive.”
