The talented youngster from Zaragoza will share football with athletics, also representing Playas de Castellón

A double star signing. Villarreal CF and Salma Paralluelo have reached an agreement for the youngster from Zaragoza to play for the Villarreal Women first team for the next three seasons (until 2022). What’s more, she will compete in athletics for Playas de Castellón, a club that is linked to Villarreal CF through Endavant Sports, from 1st January 2020. Parelluelo will represent Scorpio-17 in athletics until 31st December 2019.

Her official presentation will take place this Thursday at 12pm CEST at the press room at the Villarreal CF Training Ground. Villarreal vice-president José Manuel Llaneza will be in attendance, as well Playas de Castellón president Toni Escrig. The event will be open to media only.

World and European Champion in football with Spain U17s

Aged just 15,Salma Celeste Paralluelo Ayingono (Zaragoza, 13th November 2003) is shining in the football world. In fact, she’s a European and World Champion with Spain at U17 level (alongside Aixa Salvador). Last season, she played for Zaragoza CFF.

Paralluelo is a winger, where she can perfectly use her unquestionable physical attributes. She is also hugely talented with the ball at her feet. A quality signing.

Another elite athlete for Playas de Castellón

Paralluelo is not only a luxury signing for Sara Monforte’s side to play in the newly-formed Reto Iberdrola, but she also is for Playas de Castellón, as she is one of the most highly-rated young Spanish athletes. This year, she was indoor U19 Spanish champion, as well as winning bronze in the national 400m indoors, as well as going to the European Championships in Glasgow. Outdoors, she has put in nine appearances in the 400m hurdles. She flew in Huelva (57.43), just 0.03 away from the Aragón record held by Esther Lahoz. She also won the U18 national championship and the gold medal in FOJE.

The best is yet to come. Welcome, Salma!
