The Yellows were received by Castellón Council and Vila-real Town Council, before making an offering to Sant Pasqual
Villarreal Women have celebrated their promotion to the top flight being crowned league champions with an institutional visit to Castellón Council and Vila-real Town Conucil. They also made an offering to Sant Pasqual, patron saint of the town.
Accompanied by president Fernando Roig and vice-president José Manuel Llaneza, the Yellows visited the provincial council, where they were received by president José Pascual Martí, and sports councillor Tani Baños.
Then, Vila-real town mayor José Benlloch, and the Vila-real sports councillor Javier Serralvo hosted the women in the ‘Gran Casino’ at Vila-real, who spoke about their success and received warm wishes from the local authorities.
The Yellows then finally to the Sant Pasqual Basilica where they made an offering to the town’s patron saint after the historic promotion.
