Villarreal will play a friendly against Levante UD

Villarreal CF have confirmed a new pre-season friendly against Levante UD on Thursday 29^th July at 7:30pm CEST. The match will take place behind closed doors at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva). The match will be shown live in Spain on GOL and LaLigaSportsTV.

The friendlies against Dynamo Kyiv (26^th July) and Hertha BSC (28^th July) during the camp in Mittersill (Austria) were suspended due to two positive COVID-19 cases detected in Villarreal CF. These were detected during routine control tests that the club carries out internally to players, coaching staff and staff in direct content with the first team.

The friendly match scheduled for Saturday 24^th July in Hungary against Budapest Honvéd was played by Villarreal B. That ended in a draw (0-0).
