The club backs the writer from Vila-real, Luis Aleixandre, within the Endavant Cultura scheme
Vila-real continues backing culture with its Endavant project. The club wanted to collaborate with the ‘Dies de Futbol’ book, written by Luis Aleixandre, who’s from Vila-real, and has done so by supporting the publication of the book economically. The presentation of the book took place at the press room at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva), and featured vice-president José Manuel Llaneza and the author himself.
The book, which presents the story both in Spanish and Valencian, covers the recent history of the Yellows, through the experience and personal point of view of the author. A fictitious story from a Villarreal fan, which other Yellows fans can associate with and feel represented with,
With this support, Villarreal hopes to grow passion for the Yellow Submarine, as well as local culture, which is part of the Endavant spirit. The ‘Dies de Futbol’ book is now on sale in official club outlets (both in store and online) for 12€.
It is worth remembering that Villarreal backs local culture by supporting music festivals FIB and SanSanFestival.
