The Yellows lifted the title after beating Plena Inclusión Murcia (4-2)
Champions! Villarreal’s team with intellectual disabilities (EDI) won the FECAM tournament in Albacete. The team, led by Sonia Alcón, Toni Jiménez, Natalia Miró and Ana Roig had to win two rounds before reaching the final. First of all, the Yellows beat Adina 4-1, before then facing Fundación Espurna, who they defeated 6-2. These results saw Villarreal reach the final, where they came up against Plena Inclusión Murcia, with the result ending 4-2 in favour of the Submarine.
