A step forward. Villarreal CF has decided to join the Global Football Alliance ,with the aim of continuing to grow on an institutional level, and to continue its international expansion. The club will share experiences and strategies with the other entities from the different continents.
With this, Villarreal CF becomes the 12th club to join the project, alongside AS Saint-Etienne (France), Athletic Club Paradou (Algeria), AZ Alkmaar (Netherlands), Deportivo Independiente Medellín (Colombia), Deportivo Toluca FC (Mexico), FK Krasnodar (Russia), Melbourne Victory FC (Australia), New England Revolution (USA), Standard de Liège (Belgium), VFL Wolfsburg (Germany) and Wadi Degla SC (Egypt).
