The Yellow Submarine will carry out a pre-season camp until Saturday 3rd August

After training this morning at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva), the Yellows first team squad are travelling to Austria this lunchtime to carry out a pre-season camp in the tourist area of Kufsteinerland (Austria), also also known as the Entry Point to Tyrolean Alps, where the team will stay until Saturday 3rd August. The Yellow Submarine will face FC Augsburg (26th July, 6pm CEST), FC Köln (28th July, 6:15pm CEST) and FC Schalke 04, 2nd August, 6pm CEST) in the ‘Hero Cup’, sponsored by Lottohelden.de.

The camp in Austria, organised by ‘Onside Sports Iberia’ a company that provides crucial support to the club in this type of activities, will be the only period of the summer that the club spends outside of the Villarreal CF Training Ground.

The Yellows leave Castellón Airport at 12:30pm in a chartered flight to Salzburg Airport. Once there, the first team will stay at the Welness Schloss Panorama Royal Hotel in Bad Häring. At 6:30pm CEST, the first training session on Austrian soil will take place at the Kirchbichl training centre.

The Yellows plan to return on 3rd August arriving at Castellón Airport in a chartered flight in the afternoon.
