Villarreal CF is now in Miami. The Yellows, in collaboration with LaLiga and through the Villarreal Academy project, is carrying out a series of exclusive events in Florida, with the aim of expanding the club’s international brand and promoting their methodology at youth level.

The Yellow Submarine will start its activity in the US this weekend (2nd and 3rd November) with the Villarreal Élite Camp Miami. The camp will take place at Amelia Earhart Park, and is for boys and girls from ages six to 16. The young prospects will train under former Villarreal CF captain Marcos Senna and a group of Yellows youth coaches.

Once the camp is over, the Yellows will move on to the Villarreal Soccer Clinic Tour South Florida. This event, which will take place from Monday 4th to Thursday 7th November, will involve visits to the Striker Force Miami and Cyclone Soccer Hollywood academies. The Yellow Submarine will carry out a clinic under the methodology used at the Yellows Academy, and then will meet with coaching staff from both academies, with the aim of analysing ways of improving planning for training sessions.

During these days, the club will also visit special education school The Wow Center. Yellows’ coaches will carry out various sporting activities to bring football to those at the school.

Finally, from 8th to 10th November, the Villarreal Yellow Cup Miami by LaLiga will take place at Amelia Earhart Park. This prestigious tournament will see 16 U12 teams face each other, including Villarreal CF’s own side. Three MLS sides (FC Dallas, New York Red Bulls and Seattle Sounders) and 12 teams from the state of Florida will also be involved. The winner of the tournament will get to take part in the next LaLiga Promises Internacional tournament, which will take place in the US.
