Mario Gaspar wore a special armband and the Yellows’ shirts will be donated to the AECC
Villarreal showed support for the fight against breast cancer before, during and after the derby against Valencia CF at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
With the International Day Against Breast Cancer tomorrow, Monday 19th October, Villarreal CF showed the club’s humane side. The Submarine captain, Mario Gaspar, wore a pink armband to support this special day. Additionally, the rest of the Villarreal CF players wore pink tape and all of their shirts from this match will be donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) so they can be raffled to raise money to go towards further investigation.
