The Yellows encourage all of their fans to get involved with AECC Castelló on World Cancer Day

Villarreal are encouraging all of their fans to get involved with AECC Castelló, who are unable to organise their traditional AECC Castelló en Marcha race, due to COVID-19.

The local base for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer – AECC) has opted to commemorate World Cancer Day on Thursday 4th February by offering a charity pack, which can be bought for just ten euros, including a branded t-shirt, a training top, a small gift, and a symbolic number for the event.

These packs, with all profits going towards the not-for-profit organisation can be bought in the Espacio AECC selling points from 8am to 6pm, as well as on the sports floor of El Corte Inglés in Castellón de la Plana. The money raised will go towards research and helping people with cancer.

To increase visibility of the campaign, those who buy the pack and decide to take part in the run virtually can take a photo and share it on social media for World Cancer day, using the following hashtags #hagamosmarchacontraelcancer #4defebrerocontraelcancer #díamundialcontraelacáncer #aecccastellóenmarcha.
