Many updates in the winter transfer window with respect to Villarreal B. The Yellow reserves have brought in the forward Rafa Mújica, who has come on loan from Leeds United (this season he has been playing at Extremadura); as well as the centre-back Javi Fernández, who has also joined the Mini Submarine on loan from Real Oviedo. In addition, Álex Baena and Diego Collado have been permanently promoted to the Yellow reserves and become part of the Villarreal B squad.
The main departures are Dani Villa, Fran Álvarez and Carlos Beitia. The first two have been transfer to Granada CF and Real Valladolid, while the other has been loaned to Sabadell. Finally, it must be noted that the Moroccan centre-back Sofian Chakla has been definitively promoted to the Villarreal first team.
