Villarreal B lost against Hércules in their trip to the Rico Pérez (2-1). The Mini Submarino came away from one of the toughest grounds in their league with nothing, despite competing well against an impressive opponent.
Miguel Álvarez’s side got ahead early on thanks to a Simón Moreno goal. Hércules drew level with half an hour gone, with Pablo Íniguez scoring after a corner. Just before half-time, the home side went in front through Emaná, who fired a cross home.
Despite the defeat, Villarreal B stay top of Segunda División B Group 3 with 41 points. Next up for the Yellows is the provincial derby against CD Castellón.
