Three academy players will represent Spain at COTIF

Iván Morante, Álex Baena and Diego Collado will take part in the tournament from 28^th July to 8^th August

Three Yellows Academy footballers have been called up by Spain U20s to take part in the 36^th COTIF International Tournament, which will take place from 28^th July to 8^th August in l’Alcúdia (Valencia). They are Iván Morante, Álex Baena and Diego Collado, who have seen their extraordinary season with Villarreal U19s (Juvenil A) rewarded, a campaign which saw them win their league title and also lift the Copa del Rey.

Spain U20s will face Russia, Argentina, Bahrain and Mauritania. All the matches will take place at the Campo de Paiporta. The schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday, 30^th July: Spain vs Russia (10pm CEST).
• Friday, 2^nd August: Argentina vs Spain (10:30pm CEST).
• Sunday, 4^th August: Bahrain vs Spain (10:30pm CEST).
• Tuesday 6^th August: Spain vs Mauritania (8:30pm CEST).
