The National Police came to give educational chats to Yellows U19s about dangers of the online world

For Villarreal CF, forming their young, promising players goes far beyond just football. The Yellows look after every detail and as well as focusing on the academic field, also host a number of workshops and chats that help complete the footballers’ education.

Recently, the National Police came to Villarreal’s training ground to carry out two training days for the U19s (juvenil) players at the club. The chats spoke about something that is vitally important nowadays, such as online scams, sexting, use of social networks, digital identity and addiction to technology.

These chats aim to help the youngsters to better understand the use of the virtual world of information technology and social communication, to prevent bad conduct and for them not to be a victim of online crime.

With that, the youngsters will hopefully use the cyber world safely and adequately. From Villarreal, the support for forming young footballers is crucial. It is important to give them the tools and information to use in their daily life.

Reflecting this philosophy, this season, the Yellow Submarine organised, alongside LaLiga, a number of instructive integrity workshops for their youth teams.
