De la Vega, Nacho and Bueno beat Marc, Javi and Monrabal II in the final (60-30)
The seventh edition of the Trofeu Villarreal CF of Valencian pilota already has champions. De la Vega, Nacho and Bueno won the final against Marc, Javi and Monrabal II by 60-30 in a spectacular game played at the Trinquet Salvador Sagols de Vila-real.
Just before this game the third-place playoff final was played. Puchol II, Álvaro Gimeno and Hilari beat José Salvador, Pere and Carlos 60-45.
The tournament was attended by Marcos Senna, representing Villarreal CF. The ambassador was accompanied on the stage by Javier Serralvo, Sports Councillor; and Pep Pérez, representative of the Fundació de Pilota Valenciana.
Through the Endavant Esports project, Villarreal CF supports sport in the province of Castellón with aid for clubs and sportsmen and women in our province. As part of this work, the yellow club has also shown its commitment to the local sport, promoting its practice by holding an annual Valencian pilota tournament in the city of Vila-real.
